FOH Server

Job Summary

As a front-of-house (FOH) Server, you’ll create a welcoming dining experience through attentive hospitality and friendly guest services. You’ll take orders, serve food and drinks, and work closely with the kitchen team to keep service running smoothly.

Duties

• Welcome guests, explain menu options and answer questions about ingredients and food safety.
• Take accurate orders and serve dishes promptly, checking that guests are happy with their meals.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff on food preparation, special requests and timing.
• Handle payments accurately, using basic maths, and keep your service area tidy.
• Suggest suitable menu items to support guests’ choices and contribute to effective upselling.

Experience

• Previous restaurant experience, particularly in serving or guest services, is useful.
• Strong time management, communication and customer-care skills are important.
• Kitchen or culinary experience is welcome, but not essential.
• A sound understanding of food safety and willingness to follow hygiene procedures are expected.

Pay: From £12.75 per hour

Expected hours: 28.0 – 40.0 per week
