Experienced Front of House Team Member

Unagi – Altrincham

We’re looking for an experienced and confident Front of House Team Member to join our team at Unagi. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality, understands what great service looks like, and is comfortable working in a busy restaurant environment.

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 2 years’ hospitality experience is essential

• Previous experience working in a busy restaurant or similar environment

• Confident, friendly and professional with customers

• Strong knowledge of good table service and restaurant standards

• Comfortable working at pace while maintaining excellent service

• Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team

• Good communication skills

• Able to take initiative rather than always waiting for direction

• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends

• An interest in Japanese food, sushi or Pan-Asian cuisine is a bonus, but not essential

The role

You’ll be responsible for delivering a great experience from the moment our guests arrive until they leave. Duties will include welcoming and seating guests, taking orders, running food and drinks, maintaining tables, processing payments and helping keep the restaurant clean, organised and ready for service.

We expect our FOH team to have a good understanding of the menu, communicate confidently with both customers and the kitchen, and work together during busy services.

Please note: this is not an entry-level position. Applicants must have at least 2 years of hospitality experience.

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 35.0 per week
