Casual Front of House – Deep Water Lounge
Casual · Hastings, VIC

We’re building our casual crew and want people who make guests feel looked after.

Deep Water Lounge is a bar and restaurant in Hastings where the food is serious, and the service doesn’t feel stiff. We’re expanding our casual Front of House team to give us more roster options. Some shifts will be busy Saturdays, some will be quiet Wednesdays, and some will be private functions.

What you’ll be doing

• Looking after guests from the first hello to the last glass
• Working the floor across à la carte service, our seasonal tasting menu and private functions
• Recommending food and wine with confidence (we’ll train you on the list)
• Working closely with the kitchen and bar so service runs smoothly

Who we’re looking for

• Experience in an à la carte restaurant is a big plus
• A current Victorian RSA, or the willingness to get one before your first shift
• Availability across evenings and weekends. Let us know which days suit you, because flexibility helps us a lot
• Warmth, good judgement and a sense of humour that survives a full house

What you’ll get

• Casual rates under the Restaurant Industry Award, tips, dining discount
• Hands-on training in food, wine and service
• A small team that actually likes each other
• Flexible shifts that work around study, other jobs or life
