FOH Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced F&B SUPERVISOR to join our dynamic team at Ministry of Crab Dempsey, a prestigious restaurant located in the heart of Dempsey Hill, Singapore. Renowned for our exquisite seafood dishes and vibrant atmosphere, we are dedicated to delivering an exceptional dining experience that combines culinary artistry with outstanding hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily front of house operations to ensure smooth and efficient service
• Lead and manage the front of house team, providing training and support as needed
• Maintain high standards of customer service, addressing any issues promptly and effectively
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize the dining experience
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally
• Assist in organizing and executing special events and promotions
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the front-of-house team, including hosts and servers
• Ensure all guests are greeted warmly and seated promptly
• Train, mentor, and motivate FOH staff, fostering a team-oriented environment

About you

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role in a high-end restaurant or hospitality environment
• Knowledge of food and beverage service and etiquette
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts effectively
• Proficiency in reservation and point-of-sale systems
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems and understanding of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, are beneficial
