FOH Supervisor

About the Role

Are you a seasoned restaurant professional ready to move directly into structured restaurant leadership? Matt the Miller’s Tavern in West Chester is hiring a Full-Time Front of House (FOH) Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

· Active Leadership: Set a crisp operational tone by planning and running structured pre-shift meetings. Confidently steer service pacing and guest workflows during peak dining shifts.

· Hands-On Execution: This is a collaborative floor-first role. You will actively execute shift line tasks including EXPO management, running food, bussing tables, taking customer phone inquiries, and jumping behind the bar or floor whenever needed.

· Guest Relations & Table Touches: Conduct routine table touches, build professional rapport with our West Chester guest network, and immediately resolve guest friction points.

· System Management: Utilize Toast POS and OpenTable platforms to handle physical floor configurations, monitor waitlists, and track floor servers efficiently.

· Labor Enforcement Support: Assist upper management by actively tracking hourly staff clock-out compliance to prevent unapproved overtime and control shift labor overhead.

Requirements

· 1–2 years of active service experience as a Supervisor, Team Lead, Head Server, or Lead Bartender in a full-service, premium casual brand.

· Excellent communication abilities; comfort delivering concise, constructive floor guidance to hourly team members.

· Functional literacy with point-of-sale platforms and modern front-door reservation software (Toast/OpenTable ecosystem preferred).

· A reliable, team-focused professional attitude with an explicit interest in long-term operational career advancement.

Full-Time FOH Shift Supervisor

Position Type: Full-Time (Hourly)
Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour (Based on operational experience)
