- Assist attorneys in evaluating, tracking, and managing all FOIA requests, subpoenas for records, governmental agency record requests, and all other types of record requests across all DoHS Bureaus and Units. Conduct preliminary legal research under supervision regarding the West Virginia Freedom of Information Act and the state and federal privacy and confidentiality laws that govern DoHS records. Review agency records, apply preliminary redactions, and assist in drafting response letters, exemption forms, and privilege logs for attorney review.
