Salary: 45,000 - 65,000 THB

Job description

• Develop and formulate application samples based on projects, industrial standard, country requirements and regulation compliance.
• Handle and lead beverage application projects such coffee, tea, dairy, plant-based, carbonated soft drinks, fruit juices, energy drinks, flavored water and alcoholic beverages, ensuring projects are delivered on time.
• Good understanding of heat treatment process for different beverage categories to ensure product safety.
• Handle lab process equipment including UHT, aseptic filler, homogenizer, carbonator, hot water bath, autoclave and high shear mixer.
• Design, prepare and conduct shelf-life testing for beverages.
• Select and evaluate the right flavor solution in compliance with applications requirements.
• Strong sensory skills to evaluate and select appropriate flavors including preparing performance reports of Library.
• Support Flavorist on created/ modified flavor projects and CIMR for Consumer Insight Study.
• Initiate/collaborate with marketing team to propose an interesting application.
• Serve as technical expert and advisor to team and customers.
• Maintain effective communication with team members and clients.
• Actively manage the flavor stock in library for prompt service and dispose safety.
• Manage necessary supplies for laboratories such as packaging material and raw material.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science is highly preferred.
• Must have strong knowledge of sweet applications (end to end process).
• At least 5 years of experience in R&D or develop seasoning in beverage industry with experience in seasoning development.
• Beverage application is a must (end-to-end process)
• Experience in Beverage, Bakery and Confectionery development is preferred
• Able to work in an environment with a strong smell
• Prior experience working at a flavor house is a strong advantage
• Practical experience in flavor applications, food product development, or sensory evaluation
• Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, sales, technical support) is highly valued
• Good command in English.
