Food and Beverage Assistant

• Primary Goal: Deliver high-quality, polite, and prompt service to guests while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Greeting & Seating: Welcome guests, seat them promptly, and present menus.
• Order Management: Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen or bar.
• Table & Area Setup: Prepare, clean, and set dining tables, stations, and sideboards before and after service.
• Food & Beverage Service: Serve meals and drinks efficiently, check on guest satisfaction, and clear empty plates.
• Billing & Payments: Handle guest checks, process cash or card/POS transactions, and manage receipts.
• Hygiene & Safety: Follow food safety rules, maintain personal grooming standards, and keep the dining area clean.
• Inventory Support: Restock side stations, glassware, napkins, and beverage coolers.

Essential Skills

• Communication: Clear speech and a polite attitude for taking orders and talking to guests.
• Product Knowledge: Familiarity with food menus, ingredients, wines, and cocktail options.
• Time Management: Ability to handle multiple tables and fast-paced rushes smoothly.
• Teamwork: Good coordination with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow servers.
• Stress Handling: Staying calm and friendly during busy peak hours.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or a degree/diploma in Hotel Management / F&B Service.
• Experience: Entry-level prefer 1 to 3 years of prior service experience.
• Physical Demand: Ability to stand and walk for long shifts and carry trays or equipment.
• Who You Report To: Restaurant Captain, F&B Supervisor, or F&B Manager.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
