Food and Beverage Attendant Intern

About the role Daluyon Beach and Mountain Resort is seeking an enthusiastic Food and Beverage Intern to join our dynamic hospitality team in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the daily operations of our dining areas, learning firsthand what it takes to provide exceptional service to our guests. This internship is designed to kick-start your hospitality career, offering comprehensive mentorship, practical skills development, and a supportive environment to complete your practicum hours.

What you'll be doing

• Shadowing and Assisting: Learning to prepare and serve a variety of food items, including sandwiches, salads, and other light meals.
• Maintaining Standards: Gaining practical knowledge in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
• Service Excellence: Providing friendly and attentive customer service to guests under the guidance of our experienced hospitality team.
• Food Safety: Learning and strictly adhering to all resort food safety and hygiene protocols.
• Team Collaboration: Working alongside the wider kitchen and dining teams to understand how to deliver a seamless, high-quality dining experience.

What we're looking for

• Currently enrolled in (or a recent graduate of) a degree or diploma program in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Tourism, or a related field.
• A strong eagerness to learn and a genuine passion for the hospitality industry.
• Excellent customer service instincts and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented setting.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to upholding high standards of cleanliness.
• Flexibility to adapt to the fast-paced nature of a bustling resort environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions and accept constructive feedback effectively.
