Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of food and drink options
• Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely entry and communication with kitchen staff
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations
• Assist in food preparation or kitchen support when needed, supporting overall restaurant operations
• Manage guest inquiries or complaints professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times

Requirements

• Previous food service experience or restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for order processing and cashiering
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to handle food safely, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and change calculation
• Experience with food preparation or kitchen support is advantageous but not mandatory
• Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour
