Duties

• Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and assist with menu selections to enhance their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely processing of sales transactions
• Serve food and beverages efficiently, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks, with a focus on presentation and guest preferences
• Upsell menu items like specialty drinks or desserts to maximize sales opportunities while providing personalized recommendations based on guest preferences
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Process cash transactions accurately and handle credit card payments securely using POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery while managing multiple tables during busy hours

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of beverage service, cocktail mixing, wine varieties, spirits, and food handling procedures
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for sales processing
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs efficiently
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
• Previous experience with OpenTable or other reservation management tools is a plus
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment
