Food packing

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Food Packer to handle the packing of food orders for takeaway and delivery. The candidate will ensure that all food items are packed accurately, hygienically, and according to company standards, maintaining food quality and presentation until delivery to the customer.

Key Responsibilities

• Pack food items accurately according to customer orders, kitchen instructions, and packing standards.
• Verify order details to ensure all food items, side dishes, sauces, and accompaniments are included.
• Ensure proper portioning, packaging, sealing, and labelling of food orders.
• Check the quality, presentation, and condition of food before packing.
• Ensure hot and cold food items are packed separately using appropriate packaging.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff, order takers, and delivery personnel to ensure timely order dispatch.
• Double-check takeaway and online delivery orders to prevent missing or incorrect items.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the packing area and follow food safety procedures.
• Handle packaging materials carefully and minimize wastage.
• Monitor packing materials such as containers, bags, cutlery, tissues, and sauces, and report shortages to the supervisor.
• Follow company standards for food handling, personal hygiene, and safe working practices.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Food Packer or in restaurant takeaway/delivery operations is preferred.
• Experience in a restaurant, QSR, or cloud kitchen will be an advantage.
• Basic understanding of food hygiene and safe food handling practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
• Punctual, hardworking, and capable of working as part of a team.
• Immediate joiners will be preferred.
