Food Prep Associate

JNP Hawaii is looking for a dependable and motivated Food Prep Associate to join our growing production team! This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality, and thrives in a fast-paced food production environment. You'll assist with preparing food products while following company standards for food safety, sanitation, and quality.

This position requires standing for extended periods, working in a refrigerated production environment, and participating in daily cleaning and sanitation responsibilities.

What You'll Do

• Prepare food products by slicing, dicing, chopping, portioning, seasoning, and packaging according to company specifications
• Assist with preparing meats, seafood, vegetables, sauces, and other food products for production
• Follow recipes, production instructions, and quality standards to ensure consistency
• Safely operate food preparation equipment and kitchen machinery after receiving training
• Inspect products to ensure quality, accuracy, and proper presentation
• Label, package, and organize finished products
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area throughout the shift
• Participate in the daily washing, cleaning, and sanitation of equipment, utensils, workstations, and production areas
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals
• Perform other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in food preparation, food production, manufacturing, restaurant, kitchen, or related work preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices preferred
• Ability to safely operate food preparation equipment after training
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Comfortable working in a cold or refrigerated environment
