As a Food Prep Cook/Pizza Maker, you’ll prepare ingredients, cook menu items, and make pizzas while keeping your work area clean and organized. You’ll follow recipes, food safety practices, and production standards, and communicate clearly with kitchen staff to keep service moving.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and meals, including slicing and portioning food with proper knife skills and technique.
• Make pizzas and cook menu items according to recipes, menu plans, and established preparation standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and follow food handling, food safety, and production safety standards.
• Clean and maintain work areas, utensils, and equipment throughout food preparation and service.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to support timely, organized food service.

Experience

• Food preparation, cooking, meal preparation, and kitchen experience are valuable; restaurant, food service, food industry, or culinary experience is also relevant.
• Dietary department or dietary aide experience, menu planning, and catering experience are helpful but not required.
• Familiarity with food safety management, recipe adherence, cleaning routines, and safe equipment operation is an asset.
• Clear communication, attention to detail, and a consistent approach to safe, quality food preparation are important.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
