Food Processing Machine Technician

A well-established food manufacturing company specializing in the production and distribution of high-quality food products.

Position: Machine Technician

Salary: Php 20,000 - 30,000 gross

Industry: Food and Beverage (F&B) Industry

Location: BGC Taguig

Work Set Up: Monday -Saturdays

Qualifications

• Graduate of Technical/Vocational course, Mechanical Technology, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• With at least 1–2 years of experience as a Machine Technician, Maintenance Technician, or similar role, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Knowledgeable in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, with experience in machine troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Familiar with food processing and packaging equipment, as well as GMP, HACCP, 5S, and workplace safety standards.
• Strong problem-solving and technical skills, physically fit, detail-oriented, and willing to work in a shifting production environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and perform routine adjustments on food processing and production machinery to ensure smooth operations.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance, including troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Inspect equipment regularly, identify potential problems, and perform basic repairs, calibration, and machine changeovers.
• Maintain proper machine cleanliness and ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Monitor machine performance, document maintenance activities and downtime, and coordinate with the Production and Maintenance teams to minimize equipment breakdowns.
