FOOD PROCESSING TECHNICIAN

The Food Processing Technician is responsible for operating and monitoring seafood processing equipment and ensuring that products are processed safely, efficiently, and according to company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor seafood processing and packing equipment.

Prepare, process, weigh, and pack seafood products.

Monitor processing temperatures, quantities, and product quality.

Perform basic equipment checks and report faults or abnormalities.

Follow food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.

Maintain cleanliness of processing areas, equipment, and tools.

Record production, quality, and processing information accurately.

Assist with inventory, cold storage, and stock handling.

Support quality control and product traceability requirements.

Follow production schedules and instructions from supervisors.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Previous experience in food or seafood processing is preferred.

Technical knowledge of food processing equipment is an advantage.

Able to work in a cold and wet processing environment.

Good attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.

Physically fit and able to work as part of a team.

Responsible, reliable, and safety-conscious.
