Food Quality Executive

• Test incoming paddy and rice for moisture, broken %, head rice yield, chalkiness, discoloration and foreign matter
• Inspect finished goods against buyer and company specifications
• Monitor parboiling, drying, milling, polishing and sortex output at each stage
• Draw samples, maintain lab records and prepare daily quality reports
• Coordinate with production on rejections, rework and process corrections
• Ensure FSSAI hygiene and food safety practices are followed on the floor
• Check packing, labelling, batch coding and dispatch quality before loading

Preferred candidate profile

• B.Sc/M.Sc (Chemistry, Food Technology, Microbiology, Agriculture) or Diploma in Food Technology
• 14 years in a rice mill, grain processing or food manufacturing unit
• Hands-on with moisture meters, grain analysers and basic lab testing
• Knowledge of FSSAI, HACCP or GMP is a plus
• Willing to work at the plant in Purba Bardhaman
• Good record-keeping and basic MS Excel skills
