In this vital role, you will serve as the friendly face of our restaurant, ensuring seamless food delivery, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and providing exceptional in-person customer service. Responsibilities

• Deliver food promptly from the kitchen to guests’ tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
• Assist with food preparation and handling to support kitchen staff, following all food safety and hygiene protocols.
• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage waitlists, and seat customers efficiently to minimize wait times.
• Clear tables by bussing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and resetting tables swiftly to prepare for new guests.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and ensuring restrooms are tidy.
• Operate POS systems such as Toast POS for order processing and billing when needed.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management to coordinate guest service smoothly.
• Support guest services by addressing inquiries politely and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere throughout their visit.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and proper manual handling practices.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during cleaning or supply transport tasks.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on in-person customer service excellence.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
• Experience with food running, serving, bussing, or hospitality roles is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Commitment to maintaining cleanliness through regular cleaning duties and adhering to health regulations.
