Food Runner Busser

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Runner Busser to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role is essential in ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests by supporting the service staff and maintaining a clean, organized dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to guest satisfaction. Prior restaurant or hospitality experience is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn and grow within the industry.

Duties

• Deliver food promptly from the kitchen to guest tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
• Clear and reset tables efficiently to prepare for incoming guests
• Assist servers with bussing tables, refilling beverages, and providing additional support as needed
• Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including wiping down tables and chairs, and organizing service stations
• Support food preparation tasks when necessary, including basic plating or garnishing under supervision
• Operate POS systems such as Toast POS for order processing when required
• Uphold food safety standards during handling and serving of food and beverages
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth operation of service

Experience

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, banquet, or hospitality settings is preferred but not mandatory
• Familiarity with food handling, serving techniques, and basic food preparation is advantageous
• Experience with POS systems like Toast
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and guest service excellence is highly valued
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential
• Experience in hotel or culinary environments can be beneficial for understanding guest expectations and service standards
