Food Runner

Duties

• Safely transport food from kitchen to tables, ensuring timely delivery and proper presentation.
• Assist with food preparation and plating as needed, maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.
• Clear and clean tables efficiently by bussing, removing used dishes, and resetting for new guests.
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays or large food containers using safe lifting practices.
• Support the front-of-house team by serving food and beverages directly to guests when required.
• Maintain cleanliness in service areas through regular cleaning and sanitizing of surfaces and utensils.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to coordinate orders accurately.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with food handling, safety procedures, and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices consistently throughout shifts.
• Strong communication skills to interact confidently with team members and guests in person.
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in order management.
• Experience with bussing, serving, or guest services helps deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• A positive attitude coupled with excellent teamwork skills is essential for thriving in our energetic setting.

Pay: $23.35 - $28.12 per hour
