Duties

• Safely transport food from the kitchen to designated tables or stations, adhering to safe lifting practices and handling procedures
• Ensure all dishes are presented correctly and meet quality standards before delivery
• Assist with clearing tables by bussing dishes, glassware, and utensils efficiently and hygienically
• Maintain cleanliness in the service area by cleaning trays, carts, and work surfaces regularly
• Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic plating or garnishing under supervision
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order accuracy
• Provide friendly, in-person customer service by greeting guests and responding promptly to their needs

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred but not required
• Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper manual handling techniques for heavy lifting
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting safely
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and serve guests efficiently
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Basic cleaning skills for maintaining a tidy work environment
• Enthusiasm for delivering excellent guest services and working as part of a dynamic team
