Duties

• Deliver prepared food orders from the kitchen to tables efficiently while maintaining food quality and presentation standards
• Assist with clearing tables, bussing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area to ensure a tidy environment
• Handle manual lifting of food trays and heavy items using safe lifting practices to prevent injury
• Support kitchen staff by transporting ingredients or supplies as needed, adhering to food safety and handling protocols
• Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and guests to coordinate service smoothly
• Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders or assist with guest payments when required
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness by assisting with general cleaning duties including wiping down surfaces and organizing service stations

Skills

• Proven experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality environments
• Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently
• Strong communication skills for effective guest interactions and team coordination
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and transactions
• Experience in serving, bussing, or in-person customer service roles demonstrating a guest-focused approach
• Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
