Food Runner

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Runner to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring smooth food service operations by delivering dishes promptly and maintaining excellent guest experiences. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food service, customer interaction, and restaurant operations within a lively and professional environment. Prior experience in food handling, serving, or hospitality is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. A strong focus on food safety, communication, and guest service will be essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prepared food orders from the kitchen to guests’ tables efficiently and accurately
• Assist with food preparation and plating as needed to support kitchen staff
• Ensure all dishes are presented properly and adhere to quality standards before delivery
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate service flow
• Uphold food safety standards during handling, delivery, and table clearing processes
• Assist with setup for special events when required
• Provide excellent guest service by addressing guest needs professionally and courteously
• Prepare soups, salads, and as needed, prep.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and basic culinary operations is advantageous
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads (up to 20 pounds) as needed
• Experience with banquet service, bussing, or kitchen support roles is beneficial
• Customer service-oriented attitude with a focus on guest satisfaction
