Responsibilities

• Safely transport prepared food from the kitchen to guest tables, ensuring timely delivery.
• Assist with food handling and food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations.
• Clear and clean tables promptly after guests leave, maintaining a clean dining area.
• Buss tables efficiently by removing used dishes, glassware, and utensils to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order accuracy and guest transactions.
• Support the serving team by providing excellent in-person customer service and guest assistance.
• Follow safe manual handling practices during heavy lifting and food running duties to prevent injuries.
• Maintain cleanliness in all work areas, including kitchen stations and dining spaces, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service flow.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Knowledge of food handling procedures, safety standards, and food safety regulations.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact positively with guests.
• Experience with food running, serving, bussing, and general restaurant operations preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations while maintaining attention to detail.
• Previous banquet or large event experience is a plus but not required.
