Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. As a Food Runner, you will work closely with the kitchen staff and servers to facilitate smooth operations and maintain high standards of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
• Assist servers by communicating order details and ensuring accuracy of food presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and timely service.
• Provide excellent guest services by addressing any customer inquiries or concerns promptly.
• Support the team in maintaining high standards of hospitality throughout the restaurant.
• Utilize toast POS system for order tracking and communication with the kitchen.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking processes is a plus.
• Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
