Food Runner

SUMMARY

Delivers food to the correct table and to the correct member and ensures members and guests have an excellent dining experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Ensures that food is delivered to the correct member at the correct table.
• Ensures that all items that were ordered are served.
• Communicates with the kitchen, Servers, and the Dining Room Supervisor regarding issues with food delivery to the tables.
• Stocks expediting station on a regular basis and/or as needed.
• Ensures familiarity with the floor plan and table numbers.
• Completes all opening, closing, and running side work throughout the shift.
• Services secondary items as requested such as refilling water, breadbasket, sauces, butter, and buses table as necessary.
• Uses member's name whenever possible.
• Leaves work area organized and clean and ready for next shift.
• Communicates with members, co-workers, management, and the general public in a courteous and professional manner.
• Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
• Exhibits and maintains a professional demeanor to reflect a positive image of Mizner Country Club.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Dining Room Supervisor.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
