Responsibilities

• Safely transport prepared food from the kitchen to designated tables, ensuring timely delivery.
• Assist with food presentation and plating as directed by kitchen staff to maintain quality standards.
• Clear used dishes, glasses, and utensils from tables efficiently, supporting overall cleanliness and guest comfort.
• Maintain cleanliness of service stations, including wiping down surfaces and organizing supplies.
• Support bussing efforts by removing trash and resetting tables for new guests.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to coordinate orders and special requests.
• Follow food safety protocols during handling and serving to ensure compliance with health regulations.

Requirements

• Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) using safe lifting practices.
• Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and basic food preparation techniques.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests.
• Experience with POS systems such as Toast POS is a plus.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods in a busy setting.
• A positive attitude with excellent customer service skills in in-person guest interactions.
