Food Runner

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and correctly with exceptional service. This position requires effective communication skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen and sushi bar to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure that all food items are correct before delivering to guests
• Communicate effectively with servers to see what tables may need what
• Be efficient in taking dirty plates off tables after you drop off new plates
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
• Monitor food safety standards during food preparation and serving.

Skills

• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests.
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred.
• Familiarity with kitchen operations, including cooking techniques and food preparation.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Shifts

• Friday and Saturday evenings consistently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
