Food Runner

Job Summary

Cibo Vino is seeking a dependable and hospitality-focused Food Runner to support the dining room and kitchen teams during service. The Food Runner will ensure dishes are delivered promptly and accurately while helping maintain excellent presentation, cleanliness, and communication throughout the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food from the kitchen to the correct guest tables quickly and accurately.
• Verify table numbers, dishes, modifications, and special requests before delivery.
• Maintain proper food presentation and handling standards.
• Communicate guest requests, allergies, and order concerns to servers and kitchen staff.
• Assist servers with water, beverages, condiments, utensils, and other guest needs.
• Clear used dishes and assist with table resets when needed.
• Keep food pickup and service areas clean and organized.
• Support servers and kitchen staff during high-volume service.
• Answer basic guest questions about menu items when appropriate.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and restaurant procedures.
• Complete opening, closing, and side-work responsibilities.
• Work cooperatively with the entire front- and back-of-house team.

Qualifications

• Previous food runner, server assistant, busser, or restaurant experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dining environment.
• Strong attention to detail and order accuracy.
• Ability to safely carry trays, plates, and beverages.
• Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
