Job Description

Boston Sail Loft is seeking a friendly, dependable Food Runner to support our restaurant team and provide excellent guest service. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced restaurant environment, communicates well with team members, and helps ensure that every order reaches guests promptly and accurately.

As a Food Runner, you will coordinate with kitchen staff and servers, deliver prepared dishes to the correct tables, and help maintain a clean, organized dining area. This position is suitable for someone who enjoys teamwork and wants to develop their restaurant and hospitality skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the correct tables promptly and accurately.
• Check dishes for presentation and order accuracy before serving.
• Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate food service.
• Assist with clearing and resetting tables as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized service stations and dining areas.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and restaurant cleanliness standards.
• Respond to guest requests professionally and courteously.
• Support other front-of-house duties during busy service periods.
