Duties

• Safely handle and transport food orders from the kitchen to guest tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
• Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, including plating and garnishing to uphold quality standards
• Clear and clean tables efficiently by bussing dishes, resetting tables, and maintaining a tidy dining area
• Support the kitchen team with manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of food trays or supplies following safe lifting practices
• Ensure food safety protocols are followed during transportation and handling of dishes to prevent contamination
• Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to coordinate order delivery
• Maintain cleanliness by assisting with general restaurant cleaning duties, including sweeping, wiping surfaces, and sanitizing work areas

Skills

• Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and proper manual handling techniques for heavy lifting
• Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with team members and guests in person
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order management
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for long periods, bending, reaching, and heavy lifting safely
• Experience with food running, serving, bussing, or banquet service is a plus
• Demonstrated commitment to guest service excellence and teamwork in fast-paced settings
