Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Food Runner to join our vibrant hospitality team! In this fast-paced role, you will be the vital link between the kitchen and our guests, ensuring that food is delivered promptly, accurately, and with a smile. Duties

• Safely handle and transport food orders from the kitchen to guests’ tables using proper manual handling and safe lifting practices
• Ensure all food is presented attractively and delivered in a timely manner to maintain quality standards
• Assist with clearing tables, bussing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold food safety and sanitation standards
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to confirm order accuracy and special requests
• Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic plating or garnishing under supervision
• Maintain a clean work environment by regularly cleaning service stations, trays, and delivery carts
• Provide exceptional in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly and responding promptly to their needs or questions

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred but not required; willingness to learn is key!
• Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and food safety standards
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when transporting trays or supplies
• Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods in a busy setting
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $24.28 - $29.24 per hour
