Food Runner

Job Summary

Thrive Cocktail Lounge & Eatery is seeking an energetic, reliable, and guest-focused Food Runner to support its dining team. The successful candidate will help deliver food promptly, maintain presentation standards, and coordinate with kitchen staff and servers to provide a smooth, enjoyable dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the correct tables promptly and accurately.
• Check dishes for presentation, completeness, and special instructions before serving.
• Coordinate with chefs, cooks, and servers to keep service running smoothly.
• Communicate menu details and respond courteously to guest questions.
• Assist with plating, garnishing, and organizing orders when needed.
• Clear used dishes and help reset tables during service.
• Maintain clean and organized service stations and dining areas.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures.
• Report order discrepancies and guest concerns to the appropriate team member.
• Assist with other front-of-house duties as needed during busy shifts.

• Attention to detail when handling orders and food presentation.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and carry food trays safely.
• Previous restaurant or food-running experience is preferred but not required.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 per week
