Duties

• Safely transport food from the kitchen to tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
• Assist with food preparation and plating when needed, supporting kitchen staff to maintain smooth operations.
• Clear and clean tables promptly after guests finish their meals, maintaining a tidy dining area.
• Buss tables efficiently by removing dishes, utensils, and debris to prepare for new guests.
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of food trays and supplies using safe lifting practices.
• Maintain cleanliness of service stations, ensuring all areas meet food safety and sanitation standards.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and guests to coordinate timely service delivery.
• Support in food handling procedures to uphold health regulations and ensure guest safety.
• Assist with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order accuracy when required.
• Provide excellent in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly and responding promptly to their needs.

Experience

• Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
• Familiarity with food handling, safety protocols, and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous.
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in order processing.
• Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating with team members and delivering exceptional guest service.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while adhering to safe lifting practices is required.
• Previous experience in hospitality or kitchen roles provides a solid foundation for success in this position.
