Responsibilities

• Safely handle and transport food orders from the kitchen to dining areas using proper manual handling and safe lifting practices.
• Ensure all food is delivered accurately and promptly, maintaining presentation standards.
• Assist with cleaning and bussing tables to keep the dining area tidy and inviting.
• Support the kitchen team by performing basic food handling and food safety procedures during food running and preparation.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to coordinate orders smoothly.
• Provide excellent in-person customer service by greeting guests, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Help with light food prep tasks when needed, supporting overall restaurant operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of food handling safety standards and basic food preparation techniques.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact positively with guests.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Experience with cleaning, bussing, and general restaurant maintenance is desirable.
• A proactive attitude with excellent guest service skills to enhance the dining experience for all patrons.

Pay: $25.32 - $30.49 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
