Food Runner

Job Summary

Dando La Brasa is seeking an energetic, reliable, and guest-focused Food Runner to support its restaurant service team. The ideal candidate will help deliver food orders from the kitchen to the correct tables, maintain communication between kitchen staff and servers, and ensure meals reach guests promptly and accurately. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced restaurant environment, pays attention to detail, and takes pride in providing excellent hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the correct tables promptly.
• Verify dishes against order tickets before serving them.
• Communicate with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate food delivery.
• Confirm special requests and dietary instructions with the appropriate team members.
• Assist servers with carrying trays and managing multiple orders.
• Maintain clean and organized food pickup areas and service stations.
• Help clear tables and reset dining areas when needed.
• Refill water and assist with basic guest requests as assigned.
• Monitor order progress and notify servers of delays or missing items.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and restaurant service standards.
• Restock plates, utensils, napkins, and other service supplies.
• Assist with opening, closing, and general restaurant duties as required.

Requirements

• Previous restaurant, food running, or hospitality experience is preferred but not always required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Friendly, professional attitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Dependability, punctuality, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry food trays safely.
• Availability for flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
