Overview
KPOT Korean BBQ and Hot Pot are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that food and beverages are delivered promptly and accurately to our guests. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service, teamwork, and attention to detail within a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
• Assist servers by providing timely support during busy service periods, including refilling drinks and clearing tables.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests.
• Adhere to food safety guidelines and standards during food handling and delivery processes.
• Engage with guests in a friendly manner, addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have regarding their meals.

Skills

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
• Experience in banquet service or catering is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
• A background in culinary arts or kitchen experience can enhance your candidacy.
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service in a hospitality-focused environment.
