Food Server

Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our dynamic team in a bar / restaurant setting . The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service, managing orders efficiently, and ensuring that guests have a memorable time.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as SpotOn.
• Provide recommendations on menu items and answer any questions about food preparation or ingredients.
• Serve food and drinks in a timely manner while ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Manage cash register transactions efficiently, handling payments and providing change as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders.
• Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally to enhance their experience.
• Uphold all health and safety regulations while serving food and beverages.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a server role within a bar/ restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Proficiency with POS systems; familiarity with SpotOn is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively.
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
• A passion for food preparation and knowledge of menu items is desirable.
• Must be able to work weekends it will be required. Generally we try to alternate weekends.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.80 - $50.00 per hour
