Job Summary:

The Food Server/Cashier provides excellent customer service by taking orders, preparing food according to company standards, handling payment, booking delivery and maintaining a clean and orderly stall environment. They are expected to work quickly to ensure customer satisfaction, especially during peak hours.

JOB DESCRIPTION/KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Food Preparation & Grilling Assistant

• Prepare ingredients and assemble food orders (rice, chicken inasal, condiments) quickly and accurately
• Ensure proper operation control, food quality and food safety standards are met
• Manage ingredient stocks and ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures are followed
• Grill chicken inasal and other menu items according to standard recipes, ensuring proper cooking time and flavor

Customer Service & Order Taking

• Greet customers, take orders and provide recommendations
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system including inputting of orders accurately, process payments and calculate the cost of products accurately
• Explain menu items and address customer questions about food items
• Cross-sell and upsell products (chicken oil, vinegar, extra rice, extra condiments)
• Manage take-out and delivery orders, including online delivery platforms

Cashiering & Operations

• Process payments via cash, digital banking or wallets accurately
• Responsible for balancing the cash/petty cash register at the end of shift

Cleanliness & Maintenance

• Maintain a clean and orderly workstation, including the grill and counters
• Clean cooking equipment and utensils after use
• Properly dispose of food waste and maintain hygiene standards

Operational Support

• Assist in inventory checking and report low stock levels
• Collaborate with other grill staff
• Follow opening and closing procedures for stall

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Good math skills for cashiering
• Good Communication skills
• Basic knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
• Knowledge of booking delivery via various platforms (Grab, Lalamove)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least a Senior High School Graduate
• Experience in the food industry is required
• Friendly, proactive and customer-oriented personality
• Willing to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work near a hot grill

Pay: From Php658.00 per day
