Food Service Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Associate to join our team. You must have flexible availability including the ability to work both morning shifts and afternoon shifts, as well as weekend availabilit.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving food and beverages in a fast-paced environment. Your commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety will contribute to an enjoyable dining experience for our customers.

Duties

• Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas.
• Assist customers with their orders, ensuring a friendly and efficient service.
• Monitor food inventory levels and assist with stock management.
• Follow health and safety regulations, including proper food handling procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.

Experience

• Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role is preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• A passion for customer service with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
• Basic knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
