Food Service Associate

Blake's Kitchen + Bar is seeking a dependable, friendly, and customer-focused Food Service Associate to support daily restaurant operations and provide a positive dining experience for guests. This role involves assisting with food and beverage service, communicating orders, maintaining clean service areas, and working closely with kitchen and front-of-house team members. The ideal candidate is organized, attentive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide courteous, professional service.
• Assist with taking, confirming, and communicating customer orders.
• Support food and beverage service according to restaurant procedures.
• Help organize and deliver completed orders when needed.
• Answer basic questions about menu items and restaurant offerings.
• Communicate special requests and order details clearly to kitchen staff.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked dining and service areas.
• Replenish napkins, utensils, containers, and other service supplies.
• Assist with clearing and resetting tables as needed.
• Support coworkers during busy service periods to maintain efficient operations.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace procedures.
• Assist with opening, closing, and routine restaurant duties.
• Report guest concerns or service issues to a supervisor when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, café, hospitality, or food-service experience is helpful.
• Friendly and professional approach to customer service.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Good attention to cleanliness, order accuracy, and service details.
• Able to follow instructions and established procedures.
• Willingness to learn menu items and restaurant service standards.
