Food Service Associate

Eastern Standard Kitchen and Drinks is seeking a dependable, friendly, and team-oriented Food Service Associate to support daily restaurant operations and provide attentive service to guests. This role involves assisting with food and beverage service, supporting order preparation and delivery, maintaining clean service areas, and coordinating with kitchen and front-of-house team members. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service.
• Assist with food and beverage service according to restaurant procedures.
• Help take, confirm, and communicate customer orders when needed.
• Deliver food and beverages accurately and promptly.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff and servers to support timely order completion.
• Answer basic questions about menu items and restaurant offerings.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked dining and service areas.
• Clear and reset tables as needed.
• Restock utensils, napkins, condiments, and other service supplies.
• Assist with packaging and organizing takeout orders when required.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace procedures.
• Support opening, closing, and routine restaurant duties.
• Communicate guest requests or service concerns to the appropriate team member.
• Work cooperatively with restaurant staff to maintain efficient daily operations.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, café, hospitality, or food-service experience is helpful.
• Friendly and professional approach to customer service.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Good attention to cleanliness, organization, and order accuracy.

Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
