Food Service Associate

Saint Florian is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Food Service Associate to support daily food-service operations and provide friendly, efficient service to customers. This role involves assisting with food preparation, assembling orders, maintaining clean service areas, restocking supplies, and working with kitchen and service team members to ensure smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced food-service environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide courteous, professional service.
• Assist with basic food preparation and routine service tasks.
• Help assemble and organize food orders accurately.
• Follow established recipes, portion guidelines, and food-quality standards.
• Communicate order details and customer requests clearly with team members.
• Assist with serving, packaging, and organizing orders as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked workstations.
• Restock ingredients, food containers, napkins, utensils, and other supplies.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and food-service equipment as assigned.
• Follow proper food-handling, storage, and temperature-control procedures.
• Remove trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the shift.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines.
• Assist with opening, closing, and routine cleaning duties.
• Work cooperatively with kitchen and service team members.

Qualifications

• Previous food-service, restaurant, café, or customer-service experience is helpful but not required.
• Friendly and professional approach to customer service.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Good attention to cleanliness, food safety, and order accuracy.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
