Food Server
Job Summary

The server’s job is to ensure that all guests are provided with prompt and friendly service according to Shino Sushi standards. The server will need to be able to describe menu items in detail, assist guests in making food and beverage selections, take orders, enter orders into POS system, make all beverages, bring out food, process payments, maintain and disinfect, reset tables, and assist fellow team members to ensure overall guest satisfaction.

Key Performance Elements/Essential Functions

• Ensure timely service
• Provide the highest quality of service at all times
• Complete all designated cleaning/stocking/maintenance duties per established time line
• Servers must bus, disinfect, and reset tables
• Complete any pre-shift, operating shift, and post shift set up
• Wash beverage glassware in accordance with Shino Sushi standards
• Work in a team environment, assist other team members as needed
• Acknowledge guests as they leave and invite them to come back
• Maintain professional restaurant image including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniform, and appearance standard
• Complete other job duties as assigned by the Manager
• Have great personal hygiene

Requirements

• Have a flexible schedule
• Able to work weekends and holidays
• Minimum 6 months experience working as a server in a similar concept restaurant
• Previous sushi serving experience a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.75 per hour
