Food Service Operations Coordinator

Job Summary

Bad Brother is seeking a Food Service Operations Coordinator to support daily restaurant operations, coordinate food service activities, and maintain efficient workflows across kitchen and front-of-house teams. This role assists with staff coordination, inventory monitoring, service quality, operational records, and customer service to help ensure smooth restaurant operations and a positive guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily food service activities and restaurant workflows.
• Communicate operational updates between kitchen staff, service teams, and management.
• Assist with staff scheduling, shift coordination, and task assignments.
• Monitor service operations to help maintain quality and efficiency standards.
• Support inventory tracking, supply ordering, and receiving activities.
• Coordinate food preparation and order fulfillment with kitchen team members.
• Help maintain consistent food quality, presentation, and service standards.
• Respond to routine customer concerns and coordinate follow-up when needed.
• Maintain accurate operational records, reports, and administrative documentation.
• Assist with employee onboarding, training coordination, and team communication.
• Monitor food service supplies and report shortages or operational issues.
• Help coordinate opening, closing, and routine restaurant procedures.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and workplace safety requirements.
• Perform additional food service and operational duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; hospitality or business education is an asset.
• Previous restaurant, food service, hospitality, or operations experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic computer, spreadsheet, and recordkeeping proficiency.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional attitude and strong teamwork skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees, managers, and customers.
• Flexible availability for assigned shifts, including evenings and weekends when required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience coordinating restaurant or food service operations.
• Familiarity with POS, inventory, scheduling, or restaurant management systems.
• Knowledge of food service workflows and customer service standards.
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Good conflict-resolution and communication skills.
• Ability to identify workflow issues and support operational improvements.

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
