Food Service Worker

Job Summary

Butcher & The Boar is seeking a friendly, dependable, and hardworking Food Service Worker to support daily restaurant operations. This role involves assisting with food and beverage service, preparing service areas, supporting guests and team members, maintaining cleanliness, and helping ensure an efficient and welcoming dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, professional service.
• Assist with taking and fulfilling customer orders accurately.
• Support food preparation and service according to established procedures.
• Prepare, assemble, and serve food and beverages as assigned.
• Assist customers with menu questions and general requests.
• Maintain clean and organized dining areas, counters, service stations, and workspaces.
• Clear and reset tables and service areas as needed.
• Restock food, beverage, packaging, and service supplies.
• Follow food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist kitchen and front-of-house team members during busy service periods.
• Prepare service stations and supplies before opening and throughout each shift.
• Assist with point-of-sale and customer payment procedures as assigned.
• Ensure food and beverage orders are accurate and served promptly.
• Communicate customer needs or operational issues to supervisors.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Perform other food service and restaurant support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, food service, hospitality, retail, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Friendly, reliable, and service-oriented attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Good attention to detail and order accuracy.
• Willingness to learn food service procedures and workplace standards.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow food safety practices.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
