Responsibilities

• Prepare food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and presentation excellence
• Serve food and beverages to customers in person, providing friendly and attentive service that enhances the guest experience
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, fryers, blenders, and POS (Point of Sale) systems for processing cash transactions
• Maintain cleanliness by regularly sanitizing work surfaces, utensils, and dining areas in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures
• Assist with food handling tasks such as portioning, weighing ingredients, and packaging orders while adhering to food safety management protocols
• Support food preparation for catering or banquet events, ensuring timely setup and breakdown of service stations
• Handle manual tasks such as lifting supplies or boxes safely while following weight handling guidelines in the workplace

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, catering, or hospitality is highly desirable; fine dining or banquet experience is a plus
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitizing procedures to ensure a hygienic environment at all times
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently; familiarity with POS systems for processing transactions is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests in person
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing order quantities
• Experience with food preparation techniques, including culinary skills or dietary aide background preferred
• Knowledge of wine service or bartending experience is beneficial but not required

Pay: $23.85 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18.0 – 40.0 per week
