As a Food Service Worker, you may support food preparation, serving lines, dining areas, dishrooms, sanitation, setup, breakdown, and general kitchen or cafeteria operations. • What You Will Do
• Assist with food preparation, portioning, plating, and service as assigned.
• Set up and maintain serving lines, dining areas, and workstations.
• Clean, sanitize, and organize kitchen equipment, utensils, tables, counters, and service areas.
• Restock supplies, support dishroom needs, and help with breakdown after service.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and client-specific procedures.
• Communicate with supervisors and VeloStaff support when assignment needs change.

What We Are Looking For

• Previous food service, cafeteria, hospitality, or kitchen experience preferred but not always required.
• Ability to follow directions, work as part of a team, and maintain a professional attitude.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to [25-50] lbs as required by assignment.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
• Must meet assignment-specific screening, uniform, safety, and onboarding requirements.

Compensation, Schedule & Opportunity Type

• Pay Range: $15-$20/hour, based on assignment, market, shift, and experience.
• Schedule: [Day / evening / overnight / weekend / event / flexible shifts].
