About the Role

VrozartX Venture Studio is building a longevity research and product development programme — The Longevity Initiative — focused on the science of extending healthy human lifespan through functional nutrition, nutraceuticals, and evidence-based dietary intervention. This is a research-first role for someone who wants to do serious work at the intersection of food science, longevity biology, and product development — and communicate that work to a growing public audience through our blog, The Longevor.

You will be doing three things: conducting and synthesising primary and secondary research on longevity, nutrition, and bioactive compounds; developing and testing nutraceutical formulations; and writing and managing The Longevor blog. What You Will Do

Research

• Review and synthesise scientific literature on longevity science, functional foods, nutraceuticals, bioactive compounds, gut health, metabolic health, and preventive nutrition
• Track developments in ageing biology, nutrigenomics, the microbiome, and dietary interventions with evidence of healthspan impact
• Evaluate ingredients, formulations, and clinical evidence for potential product development
• Build and maintain a structured internal research library covering key topics within the longevity and functional nutrition space
• Identify gaps in current research relevant to Vrozart's product and content agenda and propose areas for investigation
• Liaise with external researchers, academic institutions, and subject matter experts where relevant

Nutraceutical Development

• Research, source, and evaluate ingredients with documented functional or longevity-supporting properties — adaptogens, polyphenols, probiotics, prebiotics, peptides, vitamins, minerals, and emerging bioactives
• Design and develop nutraceutical formulations — capsules, powders, functional foods — grounded in clinical evidence and aligned with target health outcomes
• Coordinate with contract manufacturers, ingredient suppliers, and testing laboratories
• Ensure all formulations comply with FSSAI regulations and applicable food safety and labelling requirements
• Support regulatory documentation, claim substantiation, and product registration processes
• Conduct or coordinate stability testing, sensory evaluation, and quality assessment for developed products

The Longevor Blog

• Own the content calendar and publication rhythm for The Longevor — Vrozart's longevity-focused blog and knowledge platform
• Write clear, well-researched, scientifically accurate articles that translate complex research into accessible content for a health-conscious general audience
• Commission and edit contributions from external researchers, clinicians, or subject matter experts where relevant
• Maintain scientific rigour in all published content — no unsubstantiated claims, no sensationalism, no inaccurate health messaging
• Build The Longevor into a credible reference point in India's longevity and functional health conversation

What We Are Looking For

Qualifications

• B.Tech or M.Sc. in Food Technology, Food Science, Nutrition, Nutraceuticals, or a closely related field
• Minimum 1 years of experience in food product development, nutraceutical formulation, or functional food research
• Freshers with exceptional academic credentials and demonstrable research writing ability will be considered

What matters most

• Genuine intellectual curiosity about longevity science — you read papers outside of work hours because you find this fascinating
• Strong scientific writing ability — you can write a literature review and a readable blog post with equal competence
• Working knowledge of FSSAI regulations governing nutraceuticals, health supplements, and functional foods
• Familiarity with ingredient databases, clinical trial databases, and scientific literature search tools
• Attention to detail in both research synthesis and formulation documentation
• Comfort working independently and managing your own time across multiple workstreams

Nice to have

• Exposure to adaptogens, longevity compounds (NMN, resveratrol, spermidine, berberine, etc.), or Ayurvedic functional ingredients
• Experience writing for a health or science publication or blog
• Knowledge of gut microbiome research and its relationship to metabolic and longevity outcomes
• Familiarity with global regulatory frameworks beyond FSSAI — EFSA, FDA dietary supplement regulations

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
