Ford Certified Mobile Service Technician

Platinum Ford is growing our Mobile Service operation! We are adding more Mobile Service vans to support our expanding customer and commercial fleet business, and we're looking for a Ford Certified Mobile Service Technician to grow with us.

This is a customer-facing position. Our Mobile Technicians represent Platinum Ford at customers' homes, businesses, and fleet locations, so we're looking for someone who combines strong technical ability with professionalism, communication skills, and outstanding customer service.

What You'll Do

• Perform mobile maintenance, diagnostics, recalls, and repairs at customer and fleet locations
• Complete eligible Ford recalls and field service actions
• Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, filters, batteries, brakes, and other services
• Diagnose and repair Ford vehicles using Ford-approved procedures and equipment
• Utilize Ford diagnostic software, tools, and technical resources
• Perform vehicle inspections and identify additional maintenance or repair needs
• Clearly explain services performed and vehicle needs to customers
• Provide a professional and friendly experience at every customer interaction
• Accurately document repairs, findings, parts, and labor
• Coordinate with our Service and Parts Departments to complete jobs efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked Mobile Service van
• Properly maintain tools, equipment, parts, and supplies assigned to the van
• Follow all dealership, Ford, OSHA, and applicable safety procedures

What We're Looking For

• Ford Certified Technician
• Current Ford training/certifications
• Ford dealership technician experience preferred
• Strong diagnostic, maintenance, and repair skills
• Ability to work independently and solve problems in the field
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable interacting directly with retail customers, business owners, and fleet customers
• Professional, well-groomed, and presentable appearance
• Ability to represent Platinum Ford professionally at all times
• Friendly, respectful, and confident when communicating with customers
• Clean and organized work habits
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to manage time effectively
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• HazMat endorsement required or must be willing and able to obtain

Our Mobile Service Technicians aren't working behind the scenes. You are representing Platinum Ford every time you pull a Mobile Service van onto a customer's property.

We're looking for someone who takes pride not only in the quality of their repairs, but also in their appearance, their van, their work area, and the way they treat our customers.

The right technician understands how to greet a customer professionally, communicate what they're doing, keep the work area clean, and leave the customer with a great impression of Platinum Ford.
